Lynn Holt - Owner/Pharmacist

Lynn was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC and graduated from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 1990. She went to work at WakeMed after graduation and was also the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital for 5 years.
Teaching and compounding are 2 of her favorite things. Once her 3 children were all in school, Lynn and her husband, Nick, opened HealthSmart Pharmacy in Wake Forest. Getting to personally know her customers and trying to solve medication problems are what she loves most about her job. Lynn hopes to eventually expand the business to include stores in the Caribbean (or any other tropical location)!! |
Nick Holt - Owner/Business Manager

Nick, like Lynn, is a true North Carolina native, having been born and raised in Raleigh. He met Lynn at UNC-Chapel Hill and they were married in 1991. Nick worked for the State of NC for over 13 years before leaving to help Lynn run the pharmacy and raise their 3 children: Abby, Zach and Tyler.
They are proud to say that Abby graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in December 2017 and started attending Campbell Law School in the fall of 2018. Zach attends NC State, while Tyler currently attends Wakefield High. He graduated from UNC with a degree in Criminal Justice and later went to NCSU for a graduate degree in Public Administration. |

Lindsey Barham - Certified Pharmacy Technician
Lindsey joined HealthSmart in July 2021. Lindsey is a native to Wake Forest and has been working at pharmacies in the Wake Forest area for over 2 decades. She is an instrumental part of the Healthsmart staff.
Lindsey is married to Donnie and has an awesome son, Carter.
Lauren Sanford - Certified Pharmacy Technician

Lauren has come back to Healthsmart Pharmacy for a seconds stint. She is responsible for our Prescription packaging program.

Valerie Terry - Service Associate

Valerie is a new employee for Healthsmart, joining us in 2024. We are excited to have her as our morning customer service associate. Valerie is from Louisburg and was working towards her degree in Art at ECU.
